Gdansk competes in a prestigious contest to become the European Best Destination 2017. Within the group of the nominees, there are also cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Paris, Vienna, London or Madrid.

European Best Destinations

European Best Destinations is an organization based in Brussels and promoting culture and tourism in Europe. It is also a platform offering holiday inspirations. Due to it’s international partnership’s, the platform contains the best offers for more than 260 European destinations.

Why Gdansk?

Gdansk is a place like no other. It’s history dates back to 10th centry and consists of many interesting periods due to the unique location of the city. But Gdansk is not only about history. The city is full of interesting places. It has beautiful Main Town, charming streets of the Old Town as well as great restaurants serving the best Polish cuisines.  There are many cultural events throughout the year. Energa Gdansk Stadium is one of the most beautiful sport arenas in Europe. The city is business-friendly with it’s growing business areas. These are just a few reasons why Gdansk should be the Best European Destination of the year.
