The most colorful and joyful festival in Gdańsk

In Entertainment, Gdansk, Lifestyle

On June 23rd 2017, Gdańsk became a big rainbow cloud of hundreds of cheerful people. From 3 pm to 11 pm everyone could have fun and get to know new, interesting people. It didn’t matter how old you were, what kind of music you listened to or if you were an adult or a child. The only important thing was that everyone should have had a good time and grinned from ear to ear.

Outbursts of colors every hour

The entry on the festival was completely for free. If you wanted to take part in color-throwing outbursts, all you had to do was to buy packets of colorful powders ( 2 colors cost 15 zł). After that, you could use them for outbursts, which were held from 4 pm to 8 pm at every full hour.

Different genres on the stage

Various artists were performing different music genres to brighten the time up. DJ HardBeatzz, DJ Verossi, DJ DAN, DJ Late at Night performed on the stage with club and electronic music, which cheered on to  dancing. After that, a reggae group called Vavamuffin performed. They’ve already given over 400 concerts, constantly developing their skills and style. The audience was singing with them and it added to that wonderful climate all together.

Polish music legend as the main star

A group called Lady Pank was the star of the evening. This music band is one of the most popular and legendary Polish rock groups. They have been performing since 1981 and since then have been giving concerts and recording albums. Lady Pank’s concert was almost a two-hour avalanche of hits, an explosion of energy, Janusz Panasewicz’ charismatic vocal and Jan Borysewicz’ amazing sound of the guitar.

For flesh and soul

During the festival you could acquire food from foodtrucks, and also buy fairy-tale balloons as well as diverse accessories. Everyone cuddled each other and had a good time!

The next opportunity to enjoy the festival of colors will be on July 8th at the beach in Sopot.
