One of the most popular rock bands in the world came to perform in Tricity last Friday. Some 11.000 fans came to see Scorpions in Ergo Arena.
The legends of Rock
Scorpions have been performing for the last 50 years. The band published 26 albums creating many unforgettable hits. Some of their songs became anthems and symbols for many around the globe. Even though the band has been on stage for half of the century, their concerts still attract and energize huge crowds of people.
Unforgettable experience
The band presented a very interesting set of songs in Tricity. Those who saw the concert of Scorpions in Ergo Arena cannot regret. The set contained all what fans could wish for. Some of the songs appeared in very interesting, special, acoustic arrangements. What is more, the band presented their biggest hits like Still Loving You, Send Me an Angel. Additionally, the band performed their biggest hit: Wind of Change halfway though the concert.
Wind of Change and Gdansk
Gdansk is a very appropriate place to perform song which became the freedom anthem. Klaus Meine composed this song inspired by the changes of political situation in the Eastern Europe in 1989. Many groundbreaking events of that period of time took place in Gdansk. As a result, the city of Solidarity movement is a great place for the Scoprions anthem. It is though not a surprise, that the crowd gathered in Ergo Arena sang along with the band when they performed Wind of Change.
High level of the concert
The band performed on their highest level for more than 90 minutes. The visual and technical side of the concert was also at the highest level. We are sure that all 11.000 fans who came to Ergo Arena to see the concert enjoyed their time. We are looking forward to the next visit of Scorpions in Ergo Arena in Tricity.
