The 6th edition of the Soundrive Festival has come to an end. Nearly 40 artists performed last week in the B90 club and in the W4 hall in Gdansk.
Performers
The Soundrive Festival lasted from 31st of August to 2nd of September in the industrial space of Gdansk Shipyard at B90. An additional attraction was a scene specially arranged for the Festival in the factory hall W4. This year, the festival featured lots of international artists, for example: Beach Fossils, AJ Tracey, Then Comes Silence, The Picturebooks, Ritualz, Get Your Gun, In Heaven and Spaceboy.
The purpose of the festival
The main aim of the Soundrive Festival is to show different genres of music. The organizers also care about inviting extraordinary artists from all over the world. They focus on the most interesting mixed music styles. This year, for the first time, hip-hop artists appeared on the Soundrive’s stage.
Last day of Soudrive
Undeniably, the biggest star of the last day of the event was the British band Artificial Pleasure. Their main musical inspiration is the creativity of Dawid Bowie. That is why their music features energetic, well-thought compositions. White Wine, Kweek Collins, Job Karma, White Starlite, Ralph Kaminski and So Slow were other artists who also performed on the 2nd of September. Kevin Martin, also known as The Bug has ended the festival. He was accompanied by Miss Red – Sharon Stern, singer from Haifa, Israel.
