EuropaProperty CEE Investment Awards
The eighth edition of the prestigious estate investment gala gathered leaders of the field in Warsaw. The goal of the event is to award the best projects and to ensure further development opportunities. The jury awarded Olivia Prime for the biophilic design.
What is biophilic design
Biophilic design is a distinctive way of constructing buildings, which encourages users to find a balance between hard work and relaxation. Olivia Prime is a building which is a quintessence of the trend.
Each floor of the building has green balconies and relax zones. Additionally, there are five additional rooftop terraces including the highest, observation deck. What’s more, designers paid a lot of attention to using natural materials and including lots of plants both inside and outside the building. Visitors of the building will also have an opportunity to enjoy the external patio with cafes and restaurants.
Apart from the visible aspects, the architects took care of users’ thermal comfort. This is possible thanks to tri-glass facade which isolates the interior from effects of weather conditions. Such a design minimizes the need for warming up the interior during the winter and cooling offices in the summer. As a result, the comfort of users is bigger and the operating costs are lower.
