Alter Art announced two new artists to headline Open’er Festival 2017. Shortly after the news about two first headliners shaken the fans of festival, we have another musical experience to look forward to.
Make Poland Rage Again
With such a motto Alter Art announced the band which was proclaimed as musical comment to present political and social situation – Prophets of Rage. The band was created by musicians originating in groups which contributed a lot to modern music. Among them we will find Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk from Rage Against The Machine, Chuck D and Dj Lord from Public Enemy and B Real from Cypress Hill. During their summer trip in USA Prophets of Rage were reminding the most important songs from their original bands. The end of August brought though their debut material under the title “Party’s Over”. With this material Prophets of Rage will present themselves to Polish audience at Open’er 2017 in Gdynia. The band will play on the main stage on Friday, June 30th.
G-Eazy
He is young, talented and gained the hearts of wide audience in United States. This 27 year old raper started his career in 2008 and worked to reach the top. His dreams started to fulfill in 2014 when his album reached number 3 on the US Billboard 200. In 2015 his single was ranked within top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. In his music he shares a huge amount of details from his life. This honesty, melancholy and feelings introduced in this music gained him millions of fans worldwide. The artist was lined-up on Thursday, June 29th together with Foo Fighters.
