Two new artists join the line-up of the Open’er Festival 2017. After having announced Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Prophets of Rage and G-Eazy, Alter Art announced artists number 5 and 6.
It is not the first time that James Blake is a part of Open’er line-up. He has already visited Tricity in 2011, when he came as a shy debutant representing his first album. A lot has changed in the life of this British artist since then. Now James Blake has 3 studio albums released and they all became an international success for him. The artist appeared at the sixth album of Beyonce and released his latest album in May 2016.
Malcolm James McCormick, known better under the name Mac Miller is a young, American rapper. This 24 year old musician released his debut studio album in 2011. His discography has 4 studio albums now. The last album: The Divine Feminine was released in September 16th 2016. Thanks to this latest release we know already that Mac Miller will perform in Gdynia with his new material.
As for now we know that Open’er Festival 2017 will start on Wednesday, June the 28th with concerts of two stars: James Blake and Radiohead. In the second day of the festival we will enjoy concerts of Foo Fighters and G-Eazy. On Friday Mac Miller and Prophets of Rage will perform at the main stage.
We don’t know yet what will be scheduled for the last day of the festival, but seeing the line-up so far, we can expect a lot.
