We will publish information about upcoming events for each weekend. From a great variety of different events happening in the area every week, we are choosing those which in our opinion are the most interesting for foreigners in the area.
Whole Weekend
Traditionally, we invite you to the Musical Theatre in Gdynia. This weekend, you may enjoy world famous Notre Dame De Paris show with English subtitles. Check the official website of the theatre for tickets for all four shows this weekend.
The Shakespear’s Theatre in Gdansk invites for guided tours around the building. The tours are both in Polish and English and take 60 minutes. Tickets are available online as well as in ticket offices of the theatre.
Friday
Radio Gdansk invites for an open day. All those who have an interest in seeing how the radio works from the backstage can come to visit Radio Gdansk between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on Friday.
Blues Club in Gdynia presents a concert of Zeppelinians – a group of major musicians of Tricity and hard-core „Led Zeppelin” fans. The concert starts at 9:00 pm and the tickets at the price of 30 PLN are available at kupbilecik and in Blues Club Gdynia. The band will play one more gig on Saturday at 9:00 pm.
In Gdansk, Knock Out Productions invites for Uriah Heep concert in B90 club. Polish metal band „Turbo” will warm up the audience starting from 7:15 pm. The British Rock band enters the stage at 8:45 pm. Tickets in price of 110 PLN are available in online presales through the official website of a club. You can also buy them in B90 right before the concert in price of 130 PLN.
Saturday
Emigrations Museum in Gdynia invites for Gdynia Language Swap event from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
Metro Club in Gdansk invites for Depeche Mode & The Cure Party starting at 9:00 pm. Entrance costs 10 PLN.
Sunday
Ray Wilson, a former lead singer of Genesis will perform in Stary Manez at 8:00 pm. Tickets in prices starting from 59 PLN are available online at Inerticket or Eventim.
Blues Club Gdynia invites for X-Project concert. A jazz-rock concert combining influences of flamenco and oriental rythms with mid-european music traditions. The composer Piotr Podlewski is famous for his experiments with mixing different styles of music. Tickets cost 20 PLN in pre-sales through the official Blues Club website and 25 PLN at the day of the concert.
Sport
On Friday Arka Gdynia invites for a home match against Piast Gliwice at 6:00 pm. The other Ekstraklasa match in Tricity will take place on Saturday at 8:30 pm. Lechia Gdansk hosts Wisla Krakow with Jakub Blaszczykowski.
Also on Saturday, Trefl Gdansk will host Cuprum Lubin in the volleyball match at 8:30 pm. The match will take place in Sopot (Hala stulecia).
