Expats in Tricity meetings - now with Tricity News

Having a record of 16 meetings, Expats in Tricity meetings have been in the area for over two years now. The great initiative for those who came from different corners of the world to Tricity is constantly growing. We are more than proud to announce the latest development of the meetings – a cooperation with Tricity News.

A struggle to meet up

One of the biggest challenges of moving to another country is leaving our friends and family behind. Here we are in an unknown place, with growing obstacles and quite often alone. This is the problem Expats in Tricity meetings are solving.

Expats in Tricity

The main aim for Izabela Disterheft – the main organizer of meetings – is to bring together those who came to Tricity from all over the world. Apart from the socializing aspects, Expats in Tricity aim to develop the interests and knowledge of the participants. Every meeting gives an opportunity to experience a different place, meet new people and listen to various presentations. From learning the art of public speaking to developing culinary skills, these meetings are filling the needs of the growing expat community. All meetings are in English.

Cooperation with Tricity News

On the 13th of February, Tricity News had an opportunity to participate in the 14th edition of the event. The meeting was a great experience with much appreciation for our work and motivation to develop. With a head full of ideas thanks to the brainstorming session after the presentation, there couldn’t be another outcome. We want to be a part of it!

Shortly after our first meeting, we had a great opportunity to prepare a photo-report from the culinary event. We instantly felt a part of Expats in Tricity family.

We are proud to announce, that from the next meeting, Expats in Tricity events will take place in close cooperation with Tricity News. The plans of cooperation are big and we hope to help in developing this fantastic Expat community!
