Watch Lechia make history this Sunday

For the first time in history one of four teams can win the Ekstraklasa championship on the closing day of the season. Lechia Gdansk, Legia Warsaw, Jagiellonia Bialystok and Lech Poznan are all playing on Sunday in matches which will determine the league champion and who gets a European spot.

How can Lechia Gdansk win the championship?
Lechia need to beat Warsaw and hope that the Poznan and Bialystok match ends in a draw.
The top three teams will all earn a European place so Lechia, at the very least, need a draw and hope either Bialystok or Poznan win to make 3rd place.

Anticipation
Hundreds of Lechia fans turned up at the training ground on Friday evening to show support for the team before they make the trip to Warsaw for the most important game in recent history.
Lechia fans are all feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness.
Those not making the trip to Warsaw are organising party’s to watch the match with friends or watching it live on the big screen in the coal market in Gdansk (see below for details of this event)
Even for non football fans this is a match not to be missed.

Live event in Gdansk
On Sunday 4th June there will be a large outdoor screen set up in the coal market (Targ Weglowy) in Gdansk which will show the full match live from Warsaw.
The event is free and you don’t need a ticket.
The match starts at 18:00 so make sure you get there early and bring your white and green colours for what will be a fantastic atmosphere.
