VERVA Street Racing 2019 in Gdynia

On the 24th and the 25th of August, a very special event will take over the streets in the center of Gdynia. The 10th edition of VERVA Street Racing visits Tricity this time. The organizers have filled the two days with exciting car races and shows. Additionally, some special guests like Robert Kubica and George Russell come to the city to participate in the event.

VERVA Street Racing

It is a periodical event and a festival for all automotive fans which has been taking place since 2010. Throughout all the editions so far, the organizers have gathered more than 2500 sport and special vehicles. Moreover, the event is gathering huge crowds every year. As for now, the counter has stopped on nearly 600 thousand spectators. Whole families will find something interesting, as there are attractions good for all.

Multiple attractions

The organizers of the event show that they are ready to amaze anyone who arrives in Gdynia this weekend. They have prepared various attractions throughout the weekend. There is an 850 meters long Formula 1 track ready for both the drivers and the spectators at Kosciuszki square. The spectators will see Robert Kubica and George Russell in their Formula 1 cars. The crowd will definitely enjoy drifting, carting, Moto GP, Le Mans style race and many more.

In addition to this track, there is a special Dakar style part of the event which will take place at the city beach in Gdynia. The visitors will enjoy seeing Cross Country show, Dakar motorcycles, and a special Dakar truck – a 350 hp monster.

If that’s not enough yet, there will be a WRC style action track. This will be an arena for WRC race, FMX, truck drifting, and Monster Gymkhana.

Those who will arrive in Gdynia this weekend will also enjoy a pit party, where they will be able to see more than 500 cars at the Seaside Boulevard. Both new and classic cars will arrive at this part of the event.

Other attractions

In addition to all the crazy things going on the ground, the organizers have decided to occupy the water and the air as well. While visiting the event, you would better have your eyes all around your head.

Also, there will be a special family zone which will have a very important educational aspect. The kids will be able to learn about safety on the streets, see the rescue shows and enjoy many other activities.

Each day will finish with concerts of music stars. On Saturday we will see Lipali, The Cassino, and Sylwia Grzeszczak. The stage will belong to Luxtorpeda, Daria Zawiałow, and C-Bool on Sunday.
