Torus Triathlon In Da House in Alchemia Gdansk

Do you feel that the winter time is not suitable for practicing sports? For the fifth time, Alchemia proves this statement wrong. Torus Triathlon In Da House is the only event of a kind taking place during winter. On Friday, the 1st of March, nearly 50 teams representing companies from all around Poland will participate in the event.
Nearly 50 teams
Torus Triathlon In Da House has already gathered a crowd of fans and active participants. Each of the 48 teams consists of 5 members. Traditionally, there is a swimmer, cyclist, and a runner. There is however also a coach and a motivator who will support their colleagues. Each team must have at least one woman in the direct runs.
Sprint Distance
The teams will start in Aquastacja – the swimming pool in Alchemia center. The participants cover 750 meters in water, which equals 30 pool lengths. After this, the cyclists will take over. They will cover a distance of 20 km on bicycles mounted on trainers and located in the sports hall. Finally, the runners will cover 5 km on treadmills. Such a format allows both more and less experienced participants to enjoy the event. It is also a great opportunity to integrate with fellow employees and representatives of other companies.
Organizing an indoor triathlon event in an office venue we aim to activate and to integrate representatives of business world. We want to add to the groupwork and give an opportunity to experience an incredible sport adventure.

Business Helps
This year, all income from entrance fees will go to the Polish Multiple Sclerosis Association. The sickness mostly affects young people who without appropriate care cannot function in society. It is very important to spread the knowledge on this condition as well as to support organizations such as PMSA. The organizers dedicate this year’s Torus Triathlon In Da House to all those people.
Program
The first teams start at 11:00 am. The event lasts throughout the day up to 8:00 pm when the official closing ceremony will take place.
The organizers warmly invite not only to participate in the event but also to support the participants. It is a great opportunity to feel an amazing atmosphere and to enjoy some networking.
