Delfinalia is another juwenalia festival, which is a polish version of a spring break. It’s organized by Polish Naval Academy and Maritime Academy of Gdynia. Even though Delfinalia has in its name dolphins it’s pretty sure we won’t be seeing any, but many other attractions will substitute it.
The festival will last for three days, from the 25th till the 27th of May and will take place in the South Pier and Kosciuszki square in Gdynia.
Concerts
On the first day you’ll get a chance to listen to Enej, playing folk and alternative rock, Vavamuffin and also Mesajah, if you’re in a mood for some reggae. The next day will be just for you if you’re into disco, pop or disco polo. On the stage will be playing Akcent, Piekni i mlodzi, Czadoman, and Playboys. Last day is going to have rappers on the stage, such as Dwa Slawy, Miuosh, Paluch and Keke.
Other attractions
If for some reason you’re not interested in the music, many other attraction will be bring to you by the Gdynia Festival. For example, you can watch teams competing in a boat race on the 27th from 11AM to 8PM. If running 5,2 km is no big deal to you then you can participate in Students Run on the same day, from 12PM to 9PM. You can also take part in a game that’s going to take place around the whole town – Gra Miejska.
