What is Soundrive Festival?
Soundrive Festival is an annual two-day event in Tricity’s music scene with a particular focus on niche artists. This year’s lineup contains both local and international performers and caters to various musical tastes.
A Variety of Artists
Concerts will be spread around four halls. All are located within the industrial Gdańsk Shipyard, giving the festival a unique feel.
The main, largest stage is at the B90 Club, where you will be able to see international artists such as Tommy Cash – an Estonian rapper of growing popularity, or Kero Kero Bonito – a British electro-pop band. The Slipway stage is reserved for rising stars like the post-metal band Rosk, hip-hop group Crack Cloud, as well as queer singer Dorian Electra. Other venues include the mysterious Cargo stage and an outdoor stage on the Elektryków street.
The festival is also a perfect occasion to experience new, unusual music styles, as the genres range from indie-pop and rap to Peruvian tropical bass. Without a doubt, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Getting there
The festival will take place in the Gdańsk Shipyard area and on the nearby Elektryków street. The closest SKM station is Gdańsk Stocznia. You can also get there by taking the tram number 7, 8 or 9 to the Stocznia SKM stop instead.
Tickets
Tickets are required to enter the event. A day pass costs 99zł, while a ticket for two days can be bought for 149zł. Both passes can be purchased from the event’s website.
