Seahawks Gdynia – Wroclaw Outlaws

In the fourth round of the Polish League of American Football (PLFA), Seahawks Gdynia are playing against Wroclaw Outlaws.

The most titled team in Poland

Seahawks Gdynia are the most titled team in Poland. The team won the Polish Championship three times in its history (2012, 2014 and 2015). The three other times the Seahawks played in the final of the league coming in second place.

Wroclaw Outlaws

Wroclaw Outlaws is the second representative of Wroclaw in PLFA league. The team was established in 2014 and in it’s short history managed to climb up to the highest Polish league of American Football. It is their first season among the top teams in Poland. The team is also desperate for points as they currently are at the last position in the league.

5th place in PLFA

After 3 matches, Seahawks Gdynia are at the fifth place in the PLFA table. The team from Gdynia lost the first game against Panthers Wroclaw in Gdynia. After that they won with Husaria Szczecin. Unfortunately they lost the last game against Lowlanders as well.

This result puts Seahawks in an uncomfortable situation if they want to fight for championship.

New Quarterback

After the problematic start of the season, the management of Seahawks Gdynia made a decision to make changes on the quarterback position. The new QB of the team is Joey Bradley, who recently played in Portugal for Lisboa Devils. Together with this team, Joey won two national championships.

The coach of Seahawks Gdynia hopes that this change will break the bad path and allow Seahawks to proof their value in the league.

An event for the whole family

American Football games in Poland are very friendly family events. Teams are organizing extra activities for kids as well as contests for the public. During halftime, supporters can enjoy some meals from food trucks. The atmosphere is always very good and safe.
