Seahawks Gdynia – Tychy Falcons

In the last, 6th round of PLFA (Polish American Football League), Seahawks Gdynia are hosting Tychy Falcons.

The most titled team in Poland

Seahawks Gdynia are the most titled team in Poland. The team won the Polish Championship three times in its history (2012, 2014 and 2015). The three other times the Seahawks played in the final of the league coming in second place.

Tychy Falcons

The team from Tychy is a rookie team in the highest level of American Footbal in Poland. The team from Silesia (Southern part of Poland) didn’t have a chance to face Seahawks yet.

Situation in the table

Though Seahawks Gdynia didn’t have a good beginning of the season, they changed their path after changing the QB. The new quarterback, Joey Bradley entered the team sharing his enthusiasm and power with other players. Since the change, Seahawks Gdynia played two games. The team from Gdynia won both matches easily with high scores (55:0 against Oultaws Wroclaw and 12:42 visiting Warsaw Eagles).

Seahawsk Gdynia are now at the second place in the table, right after unbeaten Panthers Wroclaw.

American Football games in Poland are very friendly family events. Teams are organizing extra activities for kids as well as contests for the public. During the halftime, supporters can enjoy some meals from food trucks. The atmosphere is always very good and safe.
