During the festival, a whole town around the festival is constructed, including places where you can buy food and drinks, watch theatrical plays, go to the cinema, visit the museum, buy clothes, CDs and other gadgets.
Most of all, Open’er is a place of meeting and a cultural epicenter for Poland for these 4 days each year. Last year, we saw an exhibition from the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and theater plays based on well-known Polish writers. Two years ago, visitors could watch a football match and stand-up shows performed by the best Polish comedians.
Since 2018, Open’er has tried to become more eco-friendly. The organizers only accept catering that uses biodegradable and plastic-free components. According to the organizers, 80% of food-trucks on the festival offer vegetarian food.
