Long Night of Museums is the best way to spend Saturday night in Tricity! In one night, you can visit many different museums and exhibitions. Thanks to this, you can get the feeling of the heritage connected with Tricity.

What’s going on in Gdansk?
Since this is the oldest town in Tricity, it’s not surprising that you can find many museums there. The Main City area is where you will find most of the museums:
The Historical Museum of the City of Gdansk
This organization takes care of a couple of interesting museums worth visiting during the Long Night of Museums.
The Museum of Amber

The National Museum in Gdansk
The National Museum in Gdansk has 5 departments. Three of them are in the area of the Main Town, two other are in Oliwa. There will be a special bus “MNG – NOC MUZEOW 2017” which will take you between the departments for free.

Visiting place like this one, especially during this kind of events, is an amazing experience- you can meet people whose relatives were involved in war.

The Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk
If you prefer to feel the artist`s world you can go to ASP (The Academy of Fine Arts) which is situated in the Main Town. The exhibitions will take place in three locations:
The Grand Armory House

Gdynia
You can visit six different places while visiting Gdynia at the Long Night of Museums.
Emigration Museum
Emigration Museum is one of the most interesting museums in Tricity. It tells the story of all those who decided to leave Poland and look for their future in different corners of the world.

The Navy Museum in Gdynia
Visitors can see the equipment used by Polish navy in the past as well as in our times. Additionally, you can visit the ship ORP Blyskawica.
The entrance costs 1 PLN.
Museum of the City of Gdynia
Apart from the history of the city, the museum of Gdynia prepared a special exhibition. This year the main theme will be the history of public transportation. One of the attractions is a night tour by bus (every half an hour).
