Who is “The Boy who lived”?

This is the nickname of Harry Potter. His story was written by Joanne Rowling- A British writer in 1997. After 4 years, the first movie was released- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The director is Chris Columbus and the music was composed by talented John Williams, who also made music for movies like Star Wars or Indiana Jones.

He was born in 1932 in New York and when he turned 21 he started to compose music for movies. In 1975 he made music for “Jaws” by Steven Spielberg. He also cooperated with Chris Columbus in making the best recognizable Christmas movie- “Home Alone”. His last movie is Star Wars: The Force Awakens from 2015. John Williams has been nominated for 50 Academy Awards, winning 5 of them.
