Gdansk Music Festival
March 31, 2017 - April 8, 2017PLN15 - PLN40
What kind of music festival is this?
You will be able to hear well known 11th century classical music. The composers are less known than Mozart or Beethoven, but will suffice your satisfaction. Everyday the air will be filled with music made by other composers.
Who’s going to be there?
This year`s biggest star is Russian cellist- Mischa Maisky. He will enrich the event by opening with his set. Maxim Vengerow will conduct his show and play for the remainder of the festival. Both men can play bowed instruments, so this year will be lead by violins, altos and cellos. Amazing performances will be played mostly by polish composers and musicians, who were preparing for months for this event.
Why in Gdańsk?
The festival is in Baltic Philharmonic Hall in Gdańsk- one of the most popular philharmonics in Poland. An Incredibly big auditorium will escalate the majestic atmosphere.
