June 23, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

An interesting event for women is coming up this Saturday in European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk. Draw the line workshop aims to support immigrant women to overcome gender based prejudices. The event offers the opportunity to become stronger and to learn methods to prevent sexual violence and harassment.

Draw the line project

The aim of the project is to support immigrant women to overcome gender based prejudices. The project includes awareness raising, empowerment and training within various immigrant communities.
The project offers the opportunity to become stronger and to learn methods to prevent sexual violence and harassment. Supporting immigrant women to become their own advocates and further to train them to function as community leaders could prove to be the most sustainable method to address the needs of immigrant women living in a European context.

Recently this project was one of the winners of Fundusz Feministyczny also part of the calendar of 100 years of Women’s Rights in Pomerania.

6 hours of workshop in English

The workshop will be held in English in consideration of the large number of migrant women living in Trójmiasto in English and who do not have many possibilities to participate in events like this that are generally only available in Polish language.
