Arka Gdynia won for the first time in this season’s Ekstraklasa 1:3 over Wisla Plock on Saturday. The result allowed Gdynia team to leave the lower zone of Polish championship’s classification.
The home team was the first to create a real danger when captain Szymanski’s shot from long distance hit the post in the 25th minute. Keeper Steinbors would have no chance of reaching the ball.
Nine minutes later, Arka Gdynia could have done much better when Siemaszko, beating the offside trap, appeared isolated in front of Wisla’s keeper. Siemaszko decided to offer the goal to Kolev, but Dzwigala managed to cut the ball allowing keeper Daehne to grab the ball.
Second half full of goals

Three minutes later, came the unexpected. Substitute Calo crossed to Arka’s box for Maric to try to put the ball away from the box. The ball rebounded in Aankour and went straight to Ricardinho who, only facing Steinbors, scored for the draw.
Arka regained the advantage eight minutes from time when Jankowski successfully headed the ball. When Wisla’s risked everything for the draw, Arka’s quick counterattack under Janota’s lead resulted in a goal by Siemaszko.
