Arka Gdynia SSA lost against Pogoń Szczecin 3:0

In Football, Gdynia, Sport

At the beginning of the match Arka was more confident in their attacks than Pogoń but none of 5 shots was on target. Unfortunately in 35th minute after Marciniak’s mistake Pogoń scored the first goal. Arka’s players were clearly in shock because few minutes later Pogoń was leading 2:0.

Hopes til very end

Arka’s fans were hoping to see their team in a better shape in the second half. But it seems Arka’s players lost their great form from the beginning of the season.

They were trying to fight in the second half but with no result. Arka was close to scoring a goal in 91st minute, but Pogoń’s goalkeeper caught the ball after Zbozień’s shot. In 96th minute, after a free kick Pogoń scored 3rd goal and the referee finished the match.

Worrying performance of club from Gdynia

Arka didn’t win since 19.09 and their fans are starting to worry. On next Sunday Arka is going to play derby match against Lechia Gdańsk – the current leader of LOTTO Ekstraklasa. But first Arka is playing against Bytovia Bytów in Polish Cup on Tuesday.

Coach Nicinski has a lot to think about before those matches. Will Arka’s players reach the good form they were presenting at the beginning of the season?
