Arka Gdynia – Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza
On Monday evening, Yellow&Blue fans gathered to see their team facing Termalica in a home game. This match was an important chance for points for Arka Gdynia. Termalica, on the other hand, wanted to escape the relegation zone. It was the team from Nieciecza that had the first good chance of goal in this match. Unmarked Gutkovskis failed to score in the fifth minute after a great center from Szeliga. The defense of Arka Gdynia didn’t behave well in this situation leaving the forward free.
Despite the initial mistake, it was Arka that managed to get the first goal in the game. In the 22nd minute, the referee made a controversial decision after a contact of Mikovic with Zbozien. Consulting VAR assistant, he awarded a penalty kick. Szwoch didn’t fail from the 11-meter mark.
In the 30th minute, Arka scored again after an excellent cross from Zarandia. Ruben Jurado completed with a header taking advantage from a poor action of keeper Mucha. Four minutes later, Jankowski confirmed Arka’s domination by scoring the third goal for his team. His shot surprised both defender Putivtsev and Termalica’s keeper giving Arka a very comfortable lead.
Arka dominated the first half and could have scored again but keeper Mucha had two excellent saves. First, in the 36th minute Mucha saved Jurado’s good shot. Right after that, he stopped Nalepa’s effort. Only four minutes before half time, Termalica was near Arka’s goal again. Gutkovskis, once again, had his chances of putting a mark in this game. However Steinbors kept the result with a great save.
Second half

Six minutes later fans put their hands together one more time. This time for Jurado who was leaving the field to give way to Soldecki.
Fifteen minutes from time, Arka Gdynia took advantage of a hole in Termalica’s defence to reach the fourth goal of the game.
