Previously, we wrote about Gorillaz and Bruno Mars being the first headliners at Open’er Festival next year. Now we can announce that Depeche Mode will also perform at Orange Main Stage on 5th July 2018.

First festival concert of Depeche Mode in Poland

2018 is going to be a satisfying year for Depeche Mode’s fans! Not only will this popular British band perform in Gdynia at Open’er Festival, but also in Gdansk, Lodz and Cracow. However on Thursday, July the 5th 2018, we will witness their first festival concert in Poland so far.

Band’s global success

Depeche Mode is one of the most influential music group of all time with over 100 milion records sold. Martin Gore, Dave Gahan and Andy Fletcher formed the band in 1980 in Basildon, Essex. The trio represents synth-pop, electronic and alternative rock music genres. During their career, they have recorded 14 studio albums, including their 2017 release – “Spirit”. Despite the band’s worldwide success, they still remain outside the mainstream. This is a key part of their identity.
